CAST Researchers at the 2013 ISA Convention

The International Studies Association (ISA) is hosting its 2013 Annual Convention in San Francisco, USA from 3-6 April and CAST will of course be present. Below you can see when CAST researchers will participate in panels and roundtable discussions.

  • On Wednesday 3 April at 8:15 AM, Rune Saugmann Andersen presents "'Collateral Murder' and the possibility of video resistance to mediated visual security governance" at panel on "Through Both Ends of the Lens: Imagery and the Everyday Diffusion of the International".
  • On Wednesday 3 April at 10:30 AM, Ole Wæver will be discussant in panel on "Security Beyond Discourse? Securitization as Diffusion and Translation".
  • On Wednesday 3 April at 1:45 PM, Ulrik Pram Gad presents "Muslims in Security Organizations. Under cross-pressure in identity politics" at panel on "State-Religion Separation, Public Policy, Anti-Minority Sentiment, and Discrimination against Muslims" in room Powell 1.
