CRIC announces positions as Assistant Professors and PhDs
The Centre for Resolution of International Conflicts (CRIC) at University of Copenhagen, invites applications for two positions as Assistant Professor. The positions are available from August 1 2013 or as soon as possible thereafter. One position is based at the Department of Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies (ToRS) and should focus on Syrian media as a tool for future reconciliation and cultural reconstruction. The other position is based at the Department of Political Science at University of Copenhagen and will focus on the impact of external actors on conflict, with a particular emphasis on the Horn of Africa. Furthermore, CRIC is looking for two PhD students. One of the PhDs should deal with the development of conflict theory and will be based at the Department of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen. The other PhD will focus on protracted conflicts and the remembrance, mutations and spill-overs of these conflicts and is a part of a sub-project focusing on the Horn of Africa. This PhD will be based at the Department of Political Science at Aalborg University-Copenhagen (however, with one semester´s stay at the CRIC centre).
